We were supporting a leading international hospitality group with a series of fire and life safety audits across their UK and European hotel portfolio.
Working alongside our partners and clients, our role is to assess each hotel’s fire strategy, management systems and technical installations, ensuring they meet both corporate and local regulatory standards.
Each audit begins with a detailed review of the hotel’s documentation, including fire strategies, risk assessments, and maintenance records, before our team moves on to a full site inspection. Guest and back-of-house areas are carefully reviewed to assess compartmentation, escape routes and fire protection measures, while façades and accessibility are also examined to ensure both safety and inclusivity across the building.
A full fire alarm test is then carried out to verify that the system performs exactly as intended. This hands-on approach allows us to confirm that all safety systems are operating effectively and that the building is compliant with the latest fire safety requirements.
